Vandalism Repair & Restore Grant Program
About the program
The City of Lancaster is committed to fostering a vibrant and resilient local business community. To alleviate the financial burden of vandalism, we are proud to introduce the Vandalism Repair & Restore Grant Program.
If your business has experienced vandalism-related damages such as broken windows, damaged doors, locks, graffiti, or similar issues, this program can help! Eligible businesses can apply for grants of up to $2,500 per vandalism event, with a maximum of two events covered per calendar year.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, businesses must meet the following requirements:
- Operate a brick-and-mortar location within Lancaster city limits.
- Hold an active and valid City of Lancaster business license.
- Have less than $3.5 million in yearly gross revenue.
- Be independently owned and operated (some franchises are eligible).
- Be in good standing with local authorities (no open code enforcement cases, liens, or delinquent City bills).
How to Apply
- Verify your eligibility: Ensure your business meets all qualifications.
- Document the incident: Provide proof of the vandalism event (dated on or after January 1, 2025), including repair receipts, photos and a police report.
- You will be required to submit a current W-9, photos or police report of the vandalism event, and receipts for repairs with your application.

*The following are not eligible for program funds: smoke shops, pawn shops, payday lenders, liquor stores, adult entertainment establishments, cannabis-related businesses, and home-based businesses.
