Enter the fuel voucher code

From the Home screen, tap the pink Voucher Redemption icon and enter LANFUEL50.

Important: When the app asks you to verify your Lancaster address, select Click Here and continue to the verification step.

Verify your Lancaster residency

Follow the prompt to complete the required verification process and confirm that you live within the City of Lancaster.

If you cannot finish immediately, the app may send an email and an in app alert so you can return later. If the prompt is not visible, close and reopen the app.

Receive your Lancaster Fuel reward

After residency is successfully verified and eligibility is approved, up to $50 will be added to your Lancaster Fuel wallet, subject to available program funding.

Purchase eligible fuel

Visit a participating gas station within the City of Lancaster and make a fuel purchase using your own payment method.

Fuel purchases are eligible. Food, drinks, merchandise, car washes, lottery tickets, tobacco products, services, and other nonfuel items are not eligible.

Submit your fuel receipt

Follow the prompts in the app and upload a clear photo of the receipt. Select the amount you want reimbursed, up to the eligible purchase amount and your available Lancaster Fuel balance.

Choose your payout method

Select an available payout option, such as Zelle, Venmo, or a mailed check. Once the receipt is reviewed and approved, the reimbursement will be processed.

You must be a City of Lancaster resident.
You must have a free Open Rewards account.
Your residency must be successfully verified through the Open Rewards platform.
The program is limited to one $50 Lancaster Fuel reward per eligible resident.
A valid receipt from an eligible fuel purchase is required for reimbursement.

Program funds are available while funding remains.
Submitting information, verification documents, or a receipt does not guarantee approval or reimbursement.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Shop.Drive.Fuel.Earn. program provides eligible City of Lancaster residents with up to $50 in fuel reimbursement funds through the Open Rewards app. Participation is subject to these Terms and Conditions, successful residency verification, and available program funding.

1. Eligibility and Residency Verification

Participation is limited to residents of the City of Lancaster, California.

To participate, users must download the Open Rewards app and create a free account. Within the app, users must select “Voucher Redemption” and enter the program code LANFUEL50.

Users will then be prompted to complete the residency verification process and provide any information or documentation requested through the Open Rewards platform.

Residency verification is completed through the Open Rewards platform by the platform provider. The City of Lancaster does not perform the residency verification process directly.

Submitting information or documentation does not guarantee eligibility or funding. Only users whose City of Lancaster residency has been successfully verified are eligible to receive Shop.Drive.Fuel.Earn. funds.

Once residency verification is approved, up to $50 will be added to the user’s Lancaster Fuel wallet within the Open Rewards app, subject to available program funding.

2. Eligible Fuel Purchases

Lancaster Fuel funds may only be used toward the purchase of fuel from participating gas stations listed in the Open Rewards app.

Funds may not be used toward convenience store purchases, food, beverages, merchandise, car washes, lottery tickets, tobacco products, services, or any other purchase that is not an eligible fuel purchase.

Participating gas stations can be found through the Discovery section of the Open Rewards app.

3. How to Receive Your Fuel Reimbursement

Users must first make an eligible fuel purchase at a participating gas station using their own payment method.

After completing the purchase, the user must submit the purchase through the Open Rewards app and upload a clear photo of the fuel receipt for review and verification.

The reimbursement requested may not exceed the amount of the eligible fuel purchase or the available balance in the user’s Lancaster Fuel wallet.

For example, if an eligible fuel purchase totals $50 and the user has $50 available in the Lancaster Fuel wallet, the user may request reimbursement of up to $50.

Once the purchase has been reviewed and approved, the reimbursement will be issued using an available payout method selected by the user within the Open Rewards app. Available payout options may include Zelle, Venmo, or a check mailed to the user.

Receipt submission does not guarantee approval or reimbursement. Receipts and submitted information are subject to review for eligibility, accuracy, and authenticity.

4. Fuel Purchases Do Not Earn Additional Rewards

Purchases made at participating gas stations through the Shop.Drive.Fuel.Earn. program do not earn or accumulate additional Open Rewards points, funds, or rewards.

This restriction applies specifically to participating fuel station purchases. Eligible purchases made at other participating locally owned businesses may continue to earn rewards in accordance with the standard Open Rewards program terms.

5. Program Funding and Availability

The Shop.Drive.Fuel.Earn. program is available while program funds remain.

Funds are provided on a first come, first served basis and are subject to availability. Completing residency verification or submitting program documentation does not guarantee that funds will remain available.

The City of Lancaster reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Shop.Drive.Fuel.Earn. program at any time.

Any Lancaster Fuel funds not claimed and redeemed within six months may be forfeited.

6. Receipt and Submission Review

All receipts, residency information, and other documentation submitted in connection with the program are subject to review.

The City of Lancaster and the Open Rewards platform provider reserve the right to request additional information when necessary to determine program eligibility or validate a submitted fuel purchase.

Fraudulent, altered, duplicate, misleading, or otherwise invalid submissions may result in denial of reimbursement, forfeiture of program funds, or disqualification from the program.

7. Open Rewards Account and Program Requirements

Participants must maintain an active Open Rewards account and follow the applicable Open Rewards terms, policies, and program requirements.

The Shop.Drive.Fuel.Earn. program operates separately from certain features of the standard Open Rewards Community Program and Shop.Drive.Earn. vehicle program. Eligibility, earning, redemption, and other requirements may vary between programs.

8. Privacy and Data

Information submitted through the Open Rewards app, including information provided for residency verification, is processed through the Open Rewards platform and is subject to the applicable Open Rewards privacy policy and terms.

Residency information submitted for the Shop.Drive.Fuel.Earn. program is reviewed through the Open Rewards platform by the platform provider as part of the program eligibility verification process.

Participants should review the applicable privacy policies and terms before submitting personal information through the Open Rewards app.

By participating in the Shop.Drive.Fuel.Earn. program, users acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
