TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This program functions as a voucher-based rewards system. Consumers must make a qualifying purchase at participating businesses in order to accumulate or redeem rewards. Rewards cannot be earned or redeemed without an eligible transaction.
Vehicle must have been purchased or leased from a participating dealership within the City of Lancaster, California.
Vehicle contract date must be on or after April 8, 2025.
New vehicle purchases and leases will receive $175 rewards. Used vehicle purchases will receive $100 rewards.
“Shop.Drive.Earn.” program will run until funds last. Funds are available first-come, first-served until funds are depleted.
The City of Lancaster reserves the right to cancel the “Shop.Drive.Earn.” program at any time.
Consumers must download the Open Rewards app, create an account, and submit the required documentation within 10 business days of execution of the vehicle contract in order to be eligible to receive funds.
Consumers must be willing to upload a photo or photo(s) of the vehicle contract and photo identification in order to receive funds.
Submittal of documents does not guarantee funds will be received.
All submitted documents and information are subject to review for accuracy and authenticity.
Funds can only be redeemed at the businesses listed in the Open Rewards business directory within the City of Lancaster, California.
Funds must be claimed and redeemed within 6 months or may be forfeited. 
Fraudulent or misleading submissions will lead to immediate disqualification.
Consumers do not have to reside within the City of Lancaster, California, to be eligible to receive funds.
One reward per executed vehicle contract.
Privacy Policy and Data Usage - your data will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties outside the City of Lancaster and its authorized representatives, except as required by law. All data is securely stored and protected in compliance with applicable privacy regulations.

2) Next, download the Open Rewards app and create your free account.

3) Once your purchase is verified, funds are automatically added to your Open Rewards account. Start shopping!

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE

Getting Started

Make a purchase at a participating dealership.
Download the Open Rewards: Shop Local app.
- During account setup, you’ll have the option to link your bank account. By opting-in, your eligible purchases will automatically accumulate rewards. If you prefer not to link a bank account, you can opt-out and manually upload receipts instead.
  
  Follow the prompts to create your free account.

That’s it! You’re ready to start earning rewards!

Earning Rewards

Open the app and navigate through the four tabs at the bottom:

Home | Rewards | Discovery | Profile

Tap the Discovery tab to view available participating businesses.
- Businesses displaying a percentage badge offer additional rewards for your purchase.
Make your purchase.
- If your bank account is linked, rewards will automatically appear in your account within 4-7 business days.
- If your bank account isn’t linked, simply tap “Claim” on the Home screen and follow the prompts to manually submit your receipt.

Your rewards are now earned and will appear clearly at the top of your Home Screen.

Redeem Rewards

On the top of your Home Screen, view your available rewards balance.

Tap “Claim / Redeem”, then select “Redeem”.
Select a participating business where you will redeem your rewards.
Enter the amount you wish to redeem.
Choose your preferred payout method: Venmo or Check.

Thats it! You've successfully redeemed your rewards.
