RIDE.co Expansion
Lancaster first welcomed electric bus manufacturer, RIDE.co, in 2013. Since then, the company’s presence in the city has widened and continued to expand. Recently, BYD has submitted a project on a 160-acre site that would include a 630,000 square-foot electric school bus manufacturing facility with ample room for expansion. The facility is slated to be under construction in 2024.
