About the Program
The City of Lancaster enjoys highlighting businesses that make the community special. This spotlight is all about celebrating local entrepreneurs and showing off the great things they bring to Lancaster. It's a way to share their stories, support their success, and encourage everyone to shop local. Together, these businesses help create a strong and vibrant community!
The spotlight may feature businesses through a variety of platforms, including (but not limited to) Economic Development pages in the City’s Outlook magazine, L28 television segments, the Business of the Month series, newsletters, and more. It’s all about showcasing the amazing businesses that make Lancaster unique!
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, businesses must meet the following requirements:
- Have a brick and mortar business located within incorporated Lancaster city limits
- Hold an active and valid City of Lancaster business license.
- Be in good standing with local authorities (no open code enforcement cases, liens, or delinquent City bills, etc).
How to Apply
- Verify your eligibility: Ensure your business meets all qualifications.
A Lancaster Economic Development team member will reach out to you following your application submittal.

*The following are not eligible for program funds: smoke shops, pawn shops, payday lenders, liquor stores, adult entertainment establishments, cannabis-related businesses, and home-based businesses.
