Business Spotlight: Cracker Jacks BBQ

Cracker Jacks BBQ may be new to Lancaster, but the business has been serving the Antelope Valley for more than 20 years. What began as a small catering service for neighbors, friends, and family eventually grew as more people discovered the food.

The new restaurant was designed to feel like a juke joint—a comfortable place where guests can enjoy lunch, look around, and read the signs covering the walls. It’s a space with plenty of character and a relaxed, welcoming feel.

At Cracker Jacks, good barbecue takes time. The brisket alone can take up to 18 hours to prepare and smoke. Everything is cooked “low and slow,” with the patience needed to get it right. In addition to the barbecue, customers have been especially enthusiastic about the greens and slightly spicy barbecue beans.

The owner chose Lancaster after hearing from community members who wanted more barbecue options nearby. As a longtime Antelope Valley resident, opening here simply made sense.

We’re pleased to welcome Cracker Jacks to Lancaster and feature the story behind this new addition to our business community.
