Lancaster continues to be on the cutting-edge of sustainability and clean energy practices. Lancaster has formalized a “Sister City” relationship with the City of Namie in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan and has added a mentee – the county of Hawai’i. Further, Lancaster has partnerships with several companies and pilot programs that are using various technologies to produce and utilize clean hydrogen energy.
