Children's Center of the Antelope Valley
Community Spotlight: Children's Center of the Antelope Valley
The Children’s Center of the Antelope Valley is a nonprofit organization founded by the community, for the community. Established in 1988 by local leaders and business owners, the organization was created in response to an urgent need for greater support for children experiencing abuse and neglect.
The Children’s Center helps children, youth, and families move forward with care, compassion, and access to essential resources. Its team works to ensure that every child has a fighting chance to heal, grow, and thrive—without judgment toward the families seeking help.
For decades, the Children’s Center has served as part of the village surrounding Antelope Valley children and families. Whether someone walks through its doors, calls for assistance, or reaches out online, the organization helps connect them with the services and information they need. If a service is not available directly through the Center, its team works to connect families with a trusted community partner.
Community members can support this work in many ways, including volunteering, making a one-time or recurring donation, or contributing toys, games, puzzles, and other useful items. Every gift, regardless of its size, helps the Children’s Center continue providing hope and support to local families.
Asking for help is a sign of strength. The Children’s Center welcomes children, teenagers, parents, and caregivers seeking guidance and support. Its goal is to help families move from where they are today toward a safer and brighter future.
We’re proud to recognize the Children’s Center of the Antelope Valley and highlight its enduring commitment to helping local children and families heal, grow, and thrive.
