Congratulations to AV Pop Shop on being recognized as our Business of the Month.

Founded by someone who grew up right here in the Antelope Valley, AV Pop Shop was created with a simple goal in mind. Bring something meaningful to the community. After seeing that local fans often had to drive an hour or two to Los Angeles for conventions, celebrity meet and greets, and specialty collectibles, the idea took shape. With the support of family and a lot of hard work, that idea grew into the shop we see today.

Located at 44154 10th Street West in Lancaster, this family owned business offers more than shelves of Funko Pops, anime collectibles, figures, and fan favorites. It offers an experience. Customers can connect with their childhood, rediscover the characters they grew up loving, and share their fandom with other local collectors who feel the same way. While kids enjoy the colorful displays, many of the customers are adults and young professionals who now have the chance to purchase the collectibles they did not have growing up.

Behind him are neatly arranged shelves and display cases filled with colorful boxed figures, anime statues, and pop culture collectibles, creating a vibrant backdrop of fandom items throughout the store.

Everything in the store is for sale, with a few meaningful exceptions. A special Pokémon statue that holds personal value and select items donated by customers remain on display as a reminder of the relationships built here. Artwork created by kids and fans hangs proudly in the shop, showing just how much the community has embraced this space.

AV Pop Shop regularly brings entertainment and special events to the Antelope Valley, giving residents opportunities they once had to travel far to experience. More than just a retail store, it has become a gathering place that many customers treat like a second home.

AV Pop Shop represents the spirit of small business in Lancaster. It shows what can happen when passion meets purpose and when a dream is shared with the community.
