Among the new facilities will be an Emergency Operations Center, a culinary community kitchen, and later, a renewable energy center; all built with the goal of enhancing our regional resilience in times of disaster. But that’s not all – the revamped facilities will also be open for everyone’s enjoyment throughout the year. Lancaster celebrated the ground breaking for the Parris Center in July 2024!

In a remarkable step towards sustainability, the facility is set to be powered by renewable sources, such as hydrogen.
